Electrical work sits behind the walls, so most people only notice it when a safety switch keeps tripping, a power point stops working, or a renovation calls for more circuits than the house was originally built for. Our licensed electricians handle the small jobs and the larger upgrades, and we're happy to walk you through what we've found and why it needs attention before anything is booked in.

A visit usually begins with fault finding — methodically isolating circuits to work out whether the problem is an appliance, a damaged cable, moisture in an outdoor fitting, or a board that's simply carrying more load than it was designed for. From there the work might be as simple as replacing a worn power point or as involved as upgrading a switchboard, installing safety switches on every circuit, or arranging Level 2 work on the consumer mains and metering where the connection to the street is part of the problem.

The jobs we're called for most often include adding or relocating power points and switches, LED downlight and general lighting installation, ceiling fan and exhaust fan installs, switchboard and safety switch upgrades, EV charger installation, solar-related electrical work and solar system maintenance, plus repairs to outdoor lighting and garage circuits. We also work alongside builders and property managers on fit-outs, where circuits, lighting plans and data need to be coordinated with the rest of the trades.

The reason to take electrical faults seriously is straightforward: they don't usually stay the same. A safety switch that trips occasionally is telling you something, and older fuse-based boards can't provide the level of protection modern switchboards do. Getting it looked at properly protects the people in the building and the equipment plugged into it, and it saves the frustration of chasing the same intermittent fault every few months.
